HackDuke is the nation's premier hackathon for tech and social good. Our mission is to unite passionate students to create meaningful solutions that transform the intention and narrative behind technology. In this 24 hour sprint, you will collaborate with other students, university initiatives, and community organizations.
HackDuke is about collaboration, not competition. We aim to be not just a place about building meaningful projects, but also an open forum to bring to life ideas that make a positive social impact.
Eligibility
Hackers must be at least 18 years old an enrolled in university. Undergraduate and graduate students are allowed.

Functionality
How well did the team translate their concept into a working prototype? Is the hack functional, and to what extent? Is it limited to a few examples or test cases, or were you able to operate the hack yourself and use it for its intended purpose? -
“Wow” Factor
Did any other aspect of the project "wow" you? How well does the project reflect the unique backgrounds and talents of each team member? -
Overall Presentation
How was the overall presentation of the hack? Did the hackers have a prepared pitch, or was it more off-the-cuff? How convincing was the pitch? How well did the hackers understand the scope of their problem?
